Then you notice that somebody opened a business, and even though they have less experience than you, they’re beating you. What causes overwhelm? One reason is that you’re performing, building a business, and the next thing you know, one of your competitors is beating you, and you feel overwhelmed. I believe the number one reason people quit is because they’re overwhelmed. Now let’s talk about the 10 different reasons why people quit. The better you get within time, the easier it gets to slay the next dragon. Every single person that builds a big business, has to, at many different points, slay some dragons. Was it a relationship? An argument with your parents? Your car payment? What did you worry about 10 years ago? Now ask yourself if you even worry about that today. If you’re 30 right now, think about what kept you up at night when you were 20. Think about what you worried about 10 years ago. And the way you behave and react when you hit the wall creates a habit in your life. You may feel like it’s not just the end of business, but the end of life. And when you hit the wall, you’ll feel like everything is going to collapse. No matter what phase of business you’re in right now – whether it’s the new, exciting puppy love phase, the steady phase, or the momentum phase, at some point you’re going to hit a wall. ![]()
